No worries. They will all be good guys with guns. And as long as they’re armed, they can handle any situation. Maybe they can give the cops some well-deserved time off.

^Do folks realized that the vast majority of police never fire their weapons in the line of duty, except for qualification and training? Most in fact never draw the weapon unless “mandated” by felony arrest “procedure” in a department.

How many civilians will be trained, or “qualified” under laws such as this, or even NRA “guidelines”?

if the Feds believe at age 15 you are old enough for pill-abortions, then surely college students are old enough for self-defense against the armed radicals on campus.

Tigger, sorry about not catching the typo, it wasn’t a gammer error, but are you ignorant on EvERY subject you comment on and miss the point of what people might say to educate you? Most cops never shoot anyone, and yes SWAT is called out in “special situations” which is why it’s called “SPECiAL Weapons And Tactics”.

shrugged “You afraid someone will get killed?Well death is a part of life.”

Indeed. I guess you won’t be participating in this initiative.

I certainly never knew anyone on campus that I’d worry about being armed. -Next up: armed high school students. And so on. -Business is booming in Texas. Soon, it will be campuses as well.

“The police don’t have a duty to protect you.”

Why does every police car I see have the slogan, “to protect and to serve” ? I thought that was a basic part of the job description.

callously replied, @pirate227 “It was their choice to build the town around the plant. Dumb.

Hear that pirate? It’s the victims’ fault. Dummies deserved to be blown up. And it’s your fault, pirate, for staying on this forum near dummies spewing dumb posts. You have a choice: stay here and read dumb posts or go away and live a stress free life off-line.

How long before Texas has the next Newtown, Columbine or Virginia Tech?

Or do all the targets say “I’m a Good Guy With A Gun”?

Gosh, all the police cars here have that slogan. But this is Canada — the police here still protect people.
