yep I hate it when people “take a mortgage” on an isle and just live there for what seems like days. I find it more often on the days that the senior assisted living place brings their folks to shop, all those motorized buggies, and they are tough, they will run you down. lol

Good Morning Crustwood….let’s go stand around in the aisles..Then go out for coffee.

Senior coffee at Jack-in-The Box.. 54¢When YOU were a young Mom or Dad, you hated you.

Ahhh, good ole laundry soap. We used to take baths with that stuff after picking blackberrys to remove chiggers, i.e. red bugs. (didn’t work).

Don’t even get me started on folks who, as Jean said, “take a mortgage” on an aisle, be they seniors in scooters or moms with those kiddie carts longer than an 18-wheeler. I’m afraid that rudeness and thoughtlessness are equal opportunity offenders. My daughter, no shy one her, simply crashes through , smiles sweetly and says, “Oh, I’m sorry!”

talk about hogging an aisle, looks like six hogs in an aisle if you ask me, they should stop squealing and let the lady through.

People all need to navigate the store in a considerate way, but the Penny’s (being the inconsiderate oafs that they ARE) would never!

There is a name for people like that…obliviot….oblivious idiot. They stop in the middle of doorways to talk to someone, oblivious of the fact they are totally blocking traffic, etc.

These are also the people who park their cars side by side in the middle of the neighborhood street to chat. You wait behind them to pass, but they have to finish their conversation first. GRRRR

@gmcx, I remember some of that old stuff – the toothpaste (was not Colgate, but I don’t remember brand) My grandparents had a tall can of tooth powder (not paste) that had a perforated shaker top. It was used with water. Their bathroom also had the toilet tank suspended up near ceiling (because it relied on gravity to flush).

I’m disabled to the point that I need to use one of those powered scooters to get around the grocery store. Since the chairs are hard to get out of I occasionally need help to get items from the top shelf. I can’t even imagine the kind of look the Penny’s would give someone like me asking them to reach something for them.
