¡Escándolo! The 9-11 museum was supposed to be free to visitors and now they’re planning on charging something like $20 to get in. It’s kind of sick really and Bors captures it perfectly.

Absolutely correct. bin Ladin’s main focus was to bankrupt the country and change our way of life, and Dubya played right into his hands. We spent trillions trying to kill an idea with a gun, with more going down the sewer-hole every day. We have recruited a whole new generation of haters of our occupation. And Mr. “They hate our freedoms” went on to take away habeus corpus from our constitution. Not to mention TSA, DHS, warrantless wiretaps, etc., and the loss of freedoms and the costs involved with them.

So when are you deploying to Iraq or Afghanistan?

Take all the money raised by either party for their elections, and you can set up a trust fund that will keep in operation for a decade. Take all the money raised by BOTH parties, and you can make it free for as long as the city survives.Perhaps even create special scholarships and events for the community to promote peace and understanding between neighbors.Just a thought.
