Well they should be self-equipped so less taxpayer money would be required. But that can’t happen, then what would all the warmongers waste our money “buying?” After all the reason the Rs love war is because it’s an excuse to give their wealthy friends even more taxpayer money."you’re leaving out the obvious. the reason we arm both sides, is so that we have to develop new and better weapons to keep to ourselves. until we sell them to both sides and the cycle starts again.one of the problems with that though is the last few generations of weapons get used against us (but they’re volunteers or draftees, so it doesn’t matter) and the fact of the matter is those old weapons are quite lethal.

Why do you have such disdain for the poor, disabled, and the elderly? What did they ever do to you?

Newest report from Reuters. While it may or may not be the final word on this issue, it does show why ANY leader should take time to make sure of the facts before taking military action.^http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/05/05/us-syria-crisis-un-idUSBRE94409Z20130505^For over a year, I’ve supported an internationally backed no fly zone and a safe zone near the Turkish border and still do, however, if the report from Reuters is true, the red line was not crossed by Assad and we definitely do not want to give weapons to rebels who would use sarin gas on civilians.Respecfully,C.

    - The Iraq War will ultimately cost U.S. taxpayers at least $2.2 trillion. Because the Iraq war appropriations were funded by borrowing, cumulative interest through 2053 could amount to more than $3.9 trillion. – The $2.2 trillion figure includes care for veterans who were injured in the war in Iraq, which will cost the United States almost $500 billion through 2053. – The total of U.S. service members killed in Iraq is 4,488. At least 3,400 U.S. contractors have died as well, a number often under-reported. – Iraq’s health care infrastructure remains devastated from sanctions and war. The $60 billion spent on reconstruction for Iraq has not gone to rebuilding infrastructure, but primarily to the military and police. Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction has found massive fraud, waste, and abuse of reconstruction funds. – Terrorism in Iraq increased dramatically as a result of the invasion and tactics and fighters have been exported to Syria and other neighboring countries. Al-Qaeda organizations in Syria and Iraq have proclaimed a joint “emirate"; the strongholds of the two groups are adjacent on Syria-iraq border. – Iraq ‘democracy’ is bogged down in sectarian disputes and open warfare. 218 people have been killed in gun battles and bombings since April 23.“Mission Accomplished”.

Planned Parenthood is also a supportive tool for the liberals, and they are also abortion enablers. For millions of Pro-Life supporters, abortion is tantamount to murder."yes, until those pro-life supporters need a termination, then they get one.

“Only when they can’t convince the poor girl to abort.”BR>planned parenthood has a wide range of womens health, education, and family planning services. They give women choice. It is the anti-abortionists that try to do the convincing, sometimes with threats and violence. I think the anti-abortionists can’t stand the idea of a woman excercising free will without shame.

Michael wme: If it weren’t for the dehumanizing danger, you genocidists would be hilarious. Kill everyone not like you. You would still find minute differences among yourselves and ultimately render H. sapiens extinct. As for one brand of toothpaste, we would still have a multiplicity of brands, all made by the same three corporations, if acquisitions didn’t reduce it to one by continuing current practices. Of course one giant corporation; it worked so well for GUM!

From April 29.WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—A growing chorus of Republican lawmakers are demanding that President Obama take some action in Syria so that they can attack whatever action he took in Syria.

Appearing on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) laid out the situation in stark terms: “The time for President Obama to do something in Syria that we can eviscerate him for is long overdue.”…Continue Reading >>

the banksters own the moeny and they are the 1%. the want a never-ending war because tho it impoverishes the nation and the people it generates lots of money for the 1%.Obama is in the position of being damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. I liked rockingolfer’s because it is true that the GOP is just waiting for him to do ANY thing so the can criticize him, even if it’s the same thing that they would do themselves.

“And while you are condemning one Lobbyist, don’t forget to include some of these. I’m sure you can find a few that you can blame for killing children (try planned parenthood first).”“Sure, we can draft everyone on wellfare and all the muslims to go fight, and then not bring them back home.”Judging from the comments, the conservative plan is to outlaw abortion in order to have plenty of cannon fodder for their wars.

But the Repubs WANT you to buy the hype, because Syria is where ALL the Iraqi WMDs went, right Mr. Hannity? We have to invade and destroy them so we can sell newer, better ones to the new regime!

The irony of your post seems to have gone over a few heads. The only thing Keller got right is that Jordan is having serious problems with all the refugees. What he got wrong is that Syria, just like Iraq has been a boiling cauldron capped by a brutal regime. Bringing the Shias, Sunnis & Kurds of Syria to a peaceful power sharing arrangement is no more likely than it was in Iraq.Israel is worried about Syria’s chemical weapons winding up in the hands of their enemies & seems to be acting to prevent this. Obama needs to spell out that any action in Syria needs to be led regionally & promise US support for any action supported by Syria’s neighbors & the international community. Conservatives, of course hate anything that doesn’t scream, “USA! USA!”. They think of war as another sport.

If McCain, Graham and their NeoCon Buddies had their way, it would be ALL THREE WARS at the same time, with a tax cut for the rich thrown in for good measure.

This might be a “good time” to send the NRA members over there, so they could get some “Real” target practice. Just remember that these “targets” shoot back.
