College education= high school education 60 years ago. Take my advice: get a technical skill. Forget the health field; what a quagmire.

I’ve been trying to get my kids into the trades. Most of their friends are carpenters, electricians, plubers, with one die-and-die maker. They’re making money fast, while my oldest works at a photo counter. But he loves it, so I’m not complaining. Middle Son dropped out of grade 12, and I’m not happy with him, for he hasn’t made good on his promise to go back for adult ed.

I’ll take that job as well at $50K.

Worked in retail the last six years of my working life before I retired. I just couldn’t take it anymore.

3 out of 5 co-workers were running their own business’s while supposedly working for the store. Guess who had to pick up the slack.

These guys/girls would disappear when you least expected it.

The useless owner could care less about that behavior. He knew if all f—— all.

40 years ago, a co-worker with a GED was enthusiastic when his son started college. After a year, the son dropped out because he wanted to be a plumber; now that son owns a large plumbing business and half the real estate in the small town.
