Yes, there are a lot of potential Tim McVeighs out there, still, and the list of hate groups, home grown, grows dramatically in the last four years.

Wait, you mean insane people don’t think logically and behave consistently? Never mind a Pulitzer, this revelation could win a Nobel!

Jon Stewart calls himself a comedian and makes fun of his own gravitas. Just as these editorial cartoons use sarcasm and ‘humor’ to inform and give opinion, Mr. Stewart does much the same, heavily laced with ‘vulgarity’, a statement he himself said this past week. That said…^Mr. Stewart often presents information that deserves further research and inspection. He presented some of the best coverage of the chaos and mishandling of our veterans documents at the VA and DoD. ^On Wednesday’s show, he used video from Fox news showing RECENT opinions of their pundits wanting to violate the first, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth amendments. Viewers hear the pundits in their own words and these people who defend the second amendment in the strongest possible terms show a willingness to suppress these other rights.^This is a story that deserves the attention of those who consider themselves conservatives and fans of Fox News. It is my hope that ConservGov and others would find the idea of setting aside these other rights to be at least as offensive as conservatives find limiting gun rights in any way shape or form. If you disagree with the pundits, you should write to them and say so. The freedoms they are attacking belong to all of us.Mr. Murdoch, a native of Australia, has an agenda, not a loyalty to the USA or its Constitution.Respectfully,C.

But, then again, it doesn’t take much to get a liberal to ignore reality. There is a group of Muslims which wants to destroy us.

One McVeigh? What about Ted Kaczynski? Or is your memory too short for the Unabomber?

“You can make numbers do whatever you desire, David. Are you that undeducated?”-Ah, the motto of the person who’s been proved wrong via numbers. -Yes, numbers can be faked, so can anything else. This doesn’t mean that numbers are wrong, just that you can’t think of an effective/factual argument to bolster your case.

In stead of trying to make people believe that all digits are bad, you should show how the numbers in question are false. If you’re able, that is…

Ima, I’m American born, a permanent and totally disabled combat veteran( it took time for some things to "catch up with me) who served my country as a professional in law enforcement and other venues for 32 years, and volunteered to provide emergency services like search and rescue and EMT for another 12 years, and still volunteer on several commissions to help my neighbors and nation, from land us planning, to providing access to persons with disabilities.

I love my country, and unlike so many of your “conservative loud-mouthed ilk”, have actually served it for most of my life. I just have the right, and responsibility to speak up when stupid things happen, like electing a moron, then re-electing him after he started the most senseless war in American history (killing a number of my friends as well as a few hundred thousand people abroad who did NOTHING To US!).

My son also served in our military for 13 years, and is a disabled veteran with numerous physical injuries that will bother him for the rest of his life (he just turned 34) ,as well as PTSD from being blown up in Iraq, and having other “incidents” elsewhere that most “American patriots” like you, didn’t even know we had troops engaged in combat and other “dangerous pursuits”.

So, Ima, one last time with our “patriot B.S.”, shove it where the sun don’t shine, and don’t bring it up again with any of us who’ve only served our nation by thinking as well as acting, and being true Americans, who ARE “liberal leaning”.

So Tamarlan Tsarnaev’s family may have received some form of public aid. They probably qualified because they had a kid & she was in school. We know he was as lousy a husband as he was a guest in the U.S. We can only speculate on what caused her to choose to marry him, but the welfare angle is petty.Well, Payne is often petty, so no surprise.
