I wonder if the copy of the children’s book Bush continued reading aloud while planes flew into the WTC is on display. And the video his staff prepared for him after Katrina to explain to him why it was a tragedy worth his attention.
Question from a curious non-American: why do your former presidents have to erect a library? Is this a recent tradition, does it have to be a library, can it be a…dam, school, or interstate highw…turnpike? And who pays for it?Just mildly curious.
Good Heavens man, please quit trying to use facts and reason on such ultra conservatives as HOWGOZIT. I know, as I have tried and since given up, I very rarely post here anymore, and just have a good laugh at the antics of some posters on this site. For your own continued sanity, you should probably do the same. We will speak when it comes time to vote!!
""When you look at this final agreement that we came to with the White House, I got 98 percent of what I wanted. I’m pretty happy," Boehner said in an interview with CBS News on Monday evening."
The building in this cartoon is NOT the George W. Bush Presidential Library opening in Dallas. It’s the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas.
Jeez, Luckovich, do 5 minutes of research next time.
“‘Time to move on an’ let the man alone. I believe Bush has shown with commendable grace that he wants nothing more than to enter history an’ to be left alone – so be it.”Bush probably shouldn’t have built his library as a ‘decider-ama’ if he didn’t want people revisiting his increasingly poor decisions as President.Complaining about Bush bashing in a forum where people routinely bash Clinton, Carter & the Dead Kennedys is pretty silly, IMO.
You keep calling the President of the United States by the childish nickname “Ozero,” and then you say that you doubt the Bush bashers will be even-handed.Is that a glaring hypocrisy, or is it just me?You want respect for your guy, show some respect for ours or just forget it altogether.
Ooohh, too bad. Too many words for you? I know, you conservs like it short and sweet. Nuance is a bit too complicated for you.So let’s try it:Conservative = SelfishLiberal = SharingNow I know the concept of sharing does not appeal to conservatives, but it’s what Christ practiced, and since you righties like to drop his name whenever possible, it might be fitting if you actually followed some of his teachings.Sorry, too many words?

“…A guided tour of the entire place is not considered torture….” So Rumsfeld is inside waterboarding people?

A guided tour of the entire place would be short.

Does it have it’s own dungeon? How about a Gated Spider Hole? How about a pool filled with crude oil and blood?

But I’ll bet there is a nice torture wing. Where they show how America’s values were sacrificed.
