Burning logs on Television beats any “drama/comedy” on today, that’s for sure. At least there ain’t 100 sexual innuendos, laboriously-contrived “drama” of the sort only attention-hogs can conceive, and generally uninteresting plots per half hour (or 20 minutes, with 10 minutes of advertising inserted in).

Channel nine in New York City showed a burning fire every Christmas Eve, from seven pm til midnight. The last time I saw it was in 1975.
