BUT YOU CANT OWN A GUN under those rules because you were IN A PSYCHIATRIC unit. The current Backgrounds in use at gun stores used at Gun Shows a very good idea. It does not stop Mr Crazy from getting one as he/she only has to mark NO. But this does knock back the criminal.Criminals RARELY by guns legally. They cost too damn much. Easier to buy them from fences and back rooms. Less cost just don’t mind the filed off serial numbers.And Legalize Pot will make the Cartel go away.Fat chance. To keep the market they will move in and take out your local dealers so you only buy THEIR product. All it will do is decriminalize the action. It will not make the Cartel go away. They are going to make money one way or the other. And they don’t need a gun to make you a supplier stop. Arson, threats, trashing out your production who would need a gun. And if you the supplier got a gun to “protect” yourself. They have more guns to “protect” themselves.
Do you think they even care what you send them.Now I would send one saying if they don’t start offering free beer on Fridays to all workers in America I would be all like angry and not watch their re-elections ads.

I find it amazing how many people are willing to let go of their constuntal rights. I applauded the people that prevented the stupid bill. The bill they are taking about would not have stopped any of the crimes of late. The only thing that will prevent this type of crime is another gun to stop them. The congress of the United States are not showing any common sense. I would suggest they Identify the problem. After they identify the problem go after the solution. The problem in this case is not the idiots,it’s not the guns, the problem is we left those children at Sandy Hook unprotected. The solution would be to make sure there is an armed guard to protect the children. And guess what he would never have to pull the gun to protect the children because the cowards will not come if they think they are going to get shot. By virtue of having a Armed guard at the school will prevent this type of crime. Once again it takes a good guy with the gun to stop The bad guy with a gun
I didn’t read the bill, but we have to understand is that the Dems failed because the attack was on law-abiding citizens, or was seen that way. I believe 5 Dems went with the majority of Rs on this one.
There are many reasons why these bills are bung fodder. 1) they exist at the state level unenforced. 2) they do absolute 0 to prevent children from being murdered – Congress should address the real reasons 3) they violate the 2nd Amendment. Too bad for you wanting to make this the USSA, i happen to like a democratic-republic
