I love being on the do not call list but they still find me trying to sell me something.

Don’t you love how political callers are specifically exempted from the Federal Do-Not-Call list in the US?

First get on the Federal no call list – then when they call threaten to report them. My current technique is to drop the land line, go entirely to cellular service – haven’t got a call in several years :)

I have this at time due to my daughter’s school. that annoying taped message. since i tend to let it ring thru and go to message when I don’t recognize the number…easy to delete

I had a guy call up trying to sell me leaf guards for my gutters. I told him that if I bought his product I would no longer have an excuse to go up on my roof twice a year and think about how crappy my life was. That shut him up.

Unfortunately, the ‘Do Not Call’ list exempts political calls.

I get calls on my cell phone several times a day from an outfit that uses a caller ID spoofer. So I set my phone’s default ringtone — for callers not in my contact list — to “none.” Ah, sweet peace and quiet.

I used to work in a prison…when the calling party would as how I was, I’d tell them “Fine, now that I’m not still in prison”….all of a sudden, they didn’t want to talk to me anymore…..

When My daughter was six, I’d let her talk to them. I’m thinking about letting the grankids handle that chore now.
