Yes, let’s keep the politics out of it. Oh, just a little FYI – the “Obamacare” you folks rally against was written by a Republican-controlled Congress with the majority of its contents being written by our Republican leaders. So if you’re going to rail against something please get all the facts.
John and I are going to have a high level meeting, where we will discuss how to touch upon only safe, neutral topics that don’t cause a long, tiresome conservatives vs. liberals slug-out in the comments. From now on we will feature only gags about cute bunnies. Oh, wait, somebody is bound to find a way to make that controversial.
At first we were going to have Rita get away with saying that hospitals make big money. Then it was decided to reflect reality. I used to live across from one that closed. Just because patients are charged a lot doesn’t mean all that money is profit.
I argree with Mr. Roberts. I read comics like this because I want to escape from that rat maze called life. I think Rita “knows” she’s wrecking the company and she’s too dumb to know any better! She’s a fun character to watch in the strip and I enjoyed seeing the changes of Rita through the years.
