It turns out it wasn't a real arrow through his head... It was just one of those stupid gag arrows. His condition has been changed from serious to mildly amusing. Or slightly lame...
The word balloon needs to be slimmed down a bit. Since we can see that it’s a gag arrow on his head, strike the fisrt sentence completely and leave the second sentence.
