In the version I did of this cartoon about 10 years ago I had the hatchback actually ringing the bells. If you’ve ever tried to pull a bell rope with a set of tires….it ain’t easy. My version appeared right here on ucomics.

Ugly still hasn’t passed the Renault 2CV, although the Cube comes close, as did VW’s The Thing attempt to bring back the Küblewagen.
