This I must admit is the worse case of Inebriation I’ve ever seen one in.
Personally, I would prefer Brandy as B’lanna. I always preferred the character. Strong, fiery, passionate. But could be quite kind when the time came. Janeway was very similar. Seven of Nine, I felt pity for the character, but was turned off by the obvious picking of Ms. Ryan to attract the teen-age fan boys, instead of her intelligence or other factors. The same went with T’Pol, of Enterprise. Body, over good factors.

If it took all those patches to try to get him to stop smoking (made him look like a mummy), I don’t think I’d bother curing his alcohol dependence.
