My hypothesis is that this little fellow has been watching cricket bowlers do their thing, combined with the athleticism of an Olympic gymnast, in order to reach the sweet meat of a walnut.

The author, one may presume, simply wished to show us humans what we don’t often see simply because we don’t bother to look more closely at the nature that exists around us, instead, keeping our earbuds firmly stuffed into our headholes and eyes cast down, not up.

Just my take on it, for what it’s worth.

You must be the same guy who wants to get rid of Luann in the comic named for her. Why read ’em if you hate ’em?

I just read the comics I like, the others I don’t look at or read.

Thanks, it’s amazing how you know me intimately from a single comment on a website. Actually, I put comics together and send them to my wife. She likes this one, although I can never figure out the point of it. Which was why I was asking.
