Reminds me of a bumper sticker I recently saw that reads, “Nobody cares about your stick figure family.”:Rock on, Rat.

Ah, but he wrote an open letter to say it, so doesn’t that mean no one will care what he thinks?

I find this cartoon offensive. I think I’ll write a Letter to the Editor about it.

(Joking, people.)

Which could be said about 80% or more of the blogs out there. The world is not panting to read your pseudophilosophical musings about shoes, potatoes, or whatever.

An Open Letter to Rat:You need to shave.

Concise and to the point. In this instance, I am rooting for Rat.

Fits in well with this week’s Non Sequitur story arc (Shut Up and Mind Your Own Stupid Business). I always thought Rat and Danae had a lot in common.

Blogs are the modern equivalent of a diary or private journal, except anyone out there can read it, instead of keeping it under lock and key like we did in middle school.

There are a few good blogs out there, in my experience mostly to do with cooking or other hobbies. I’ve learned most of what I know about Indian food from Indian Food Rocks and its excellent photo tutorials.
