Oh……..there’s only seven comments! I can post without having to be down at 45th to 80th!(…..sure wish I had something worthwhile to say……)

Somehow, I don’t think Bernice will be chosen….in a real world anyway, I think Ms. Phelps would feel Bern hasn’t got the empathy required. I was trying to think of another one of the characters that would…….maybe Gunther?

I’m not so sure she won’t get the job.

In spite of her woes, Bernice ’s being dumped by Miss Phelps surprises me. I would have thought Bernice would be a shoe-in with Phelpsy….

What “tanked” means here? Failed?

They are not enemies, but they are not close friends anymore. People grow apart. People get obsessed with their cellphone boyfriends…

Luann is very different from Bernice and Delta. It is not a bad thing, but its hard to relate and be friends with someone who is that different from you in terms of goals and personalities.

See. It’s good to have Luann around.

And again, I say, why does Luann want these two for friends?At least with Tiffany you know what you’re getting. Delta and Bernice are a couple of insincere backstabbers who laugh at her behind her back.

I believe that the interview was unsuccessful because Bernice bad-mouthed Ms. Phelps who took offense when she overheard her!

Arms folded under seat belt? Bad news!

With friends like these who needs enemies?

At least Bernice hasn’t soiled the upholstery with her oily clothes. Of course we haven’t seen the seats yet. Maybe next week. Nah, that wouldn’t be funny or dramatic.

Tanked the interview? Maybe, but this is where you’ll learn how cool Ms. Phelps is.

*She knows you’re a teen, Bern, it was your first time, and she wants you to succeed. Bet you get the internship— as long as it’s NOT in the high school (TMI about friends).

Drama— it’s not just for Luann any more! (Had a glass this morning.)

The question is “what’s the lesson?”

If the interview DID “tank”, it might be a blessing in disguise for Bern, might set her back to her original goal of being a vet; something I think she would find more to her liking than listening to whiny teens all the time (She’s been doing that on the floor of Luann’s room, for years!)

Why is she complaining about blowing the interview? It would have meant working with a woman she felt couldn’t do her own job!

Who crosses their arms under the seat belt? I have never seen that before!

I have done things with arms just to keep seat belt away from my neck (if riding in an older car where belts don’t adjust for short people). My man had a vintage Caddie for a while but decided to return to Lincolns.

Just like Lucy and Snoopy in the Peanuts strip: “Yeah, blame everything on the round-headed kid! It doesn’t solve anything, but it makes us feel better…”

Nice friends…smh.
