I hope Six’s ribs get better soon. The rib injury I described yesterday actually happened, in 1994. I still have problems from that event.

I have been to the doctor about my back surgery. I am making good progress. I guess that I need to consider retirement. I don’t see driving a rig again. And most employers will look at the back as a major issue. I’m not opposed to retirement but I’m opposed to being broke most of the month. Well when man closes a door, God opens another.

Gweedo, if you’re around, find a way back in. I miss you, man.

I’d be pretty amiss if i didn’t mention 420 has a couple other solemn observances. One was the real Lord Voldemort’s birthday, and 14 [!!!] years ago, before 11-Sept., even, domestic terror gripped everyone with a Family, Newspaper or Television. Several more self-inflicted atrocitys have occurred in the interim; One ending just last night.    Despite all that Tragedy, America took every Punch and didn’t flinch, and of that achievement, i AM proud.

Us kicking Number Six’s back is all well and fun but if it persists I am sure he will “Go PRO”. Years back I was pulling a pallet of pears with a non electric pallet jack when I felt a strain in my back. I was inside the back of the delivery truck and the deck plate had depressions in between the frame members from years of heavy stuff going over it. It was a diesel powered ex Ryder rental truck with a twenty-two foot long bed. Anyhoo… I didn’t go to a doc but for about the next nine months or so my back was tense, like being in a cast. I worked with it as such and it got all better by itself. A number of hurts can work themselves out if you favor the affected area as I did my back. The sensation was right down the middle. I was extra careful at lifting and it paid off. Get better, Buddy !.Nice Pogo today, despite what that puceillanimous pipsqueak sez and scratching the Chawkee board wont hurt me…. I got the sound turned off !!!.That is better news, afficio. Is (A)Etna’s insurance paid up ?
