Now if Congress would get off their lazy butts and actually WRITE a budget, like we elected them to do…But no. It’s much more important to keep the NRA happy.

Remember, Obama had control of the House and Senate during the first 2 years. And no buget was written then. The House has written bugets for the past 2 years but Obama will not pass it.

Odd that you didn’t reply about the the first part of wolfhounblues1’s post. What is the reason for not having a budget while the democrats had control of the white house, the house, and the senate?

So, this means that you must be able to prove you’re a good athlete to be able to budget properly?

Let’s take a look at all the professional athletes who earned a gazillion dollars and are now broke.

    Silly idea for a ’toon.

I agree, and wish that Harry Reid would allow the House-passed budgets to be discussed and voted on in the Senate. This is the only way the Senate will be able to vote the House budget down, or perhaps modify its excesses. A bad bill is a bad bill, but should still be voted down, rather than shelved.

The other night I decided to get wild and watch both MSNBC and Fox. First I watched Rachel Maddow, who is a good commentator but was stuck on one republican hater story after another. Switch to Bill O’Rielly on Fox, who was stuck on one “looney liberal” story after another.

The entire experience was equal in time and lasted a total of a half hour. My head was throbbing from all the hater rhetoric put forth by both sides.

Then it was back to the History Channel followed up by a couple of hours of “How Stuff Works.” I finally dozed off and felt like my mind had been restored to saner levels…

How to budget? Really? Start with a multi-trillion dollar deficit and go from there. You have two terms to do it in. Good luck. And, oh, by the way, you get no help from those who handed you that economic fiasco.

“Fareed Zakaria GPS to be fair and even handed”I absolutely agree, and watch every Sunday morning. Mandatory viewing for people who want to know what’s actually happening in the world.

Always seems these dunce classes are conspicuously small. My mother always said it takes two to tango. Where are all the other dunces and “leaders” who can’t get off high center??
