The “Enron Loophole” was put in place by Wendy Gramm when she was head of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, deregulating the energy markets. A job she left to sit on the board of Enron. Today she is a “distinguished senior scholar at George Mason University’s Mercatus Center”, a free-market think tank based in Washington D.C. that is funded by Koch Industries and Exxon.By the way, her husband Phil Gramm is responsible for the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act that repealed parts of the Glass-Steagal Act and deregulated the banking industry.
Seems to me that you’re trying to reenforce mdavis4183’s baseless claim that Skilling was a Clinton crony by calling into question my statement of fact. Tell me, on what basis can anyone claim any Enron executive was a Clinton crony? What did any Enron executive get from Clinton?

Send him to California. Make him stand on the street with a sign educating people as to who he is and what his position was. They’ll know what to do.

“Clinton crony.”Get real. It wasn’t Clinton who was calling Skilling’s boss “Kenny boy.”

Liar. Bush/Cheney. Who was on Cheney’s secret “Energy Policy” committee that kept us on expensive foreign oil…?

“Well that proves everything.”I gave a simple statement of fact, which was more than mdavis4183 offered up.
