My mother wondered why I was single and without a girlfriend for as long as I was. There was the threat of my baby pictures that included those of me being potty trained. My brother did not have as many photos taken of him as a infant and toddler. He had a long list of girlfriends and unsuccessful relationships with women. I married late in life and was widowed early. My second marriage is strong with a lovely daughter. Both of my wives were loved by my mother and my brother’s only wife only had my mother wishing that the girl would be “turned into a lizard and have a cat eat her.”
