Why is she the one who has to give up more stuff she may actually need? It’s not like she’s making one cent from the sale. They’re lucky they’ve sold so much so yeah, close up shop early.
Why is it such a BAD thing to sell everything at your yard sale just because you’ve still got an hour left to go on its advertised time? Anybody who goes to yard sales on a regular basis knows that you have to get there early in order to have any decent shot at getting “the good stuff” first. With only an hour left to go, there probably won’t be that many more people coming by now anyhow because everything will already be picked through and whatever’s left will just be the junk that no one else wanted either.

I always had my sales from 8 till 2 and then put it away or if it was the last day, then called Goodwill or whoever to come get the rest.
