If any of you read “Bizarro,” this might be the origin of the upside down bird.

By the time they’ve gotten around to gags featuring an upside-down bird with fluffy head feathers, the colorist really should be coloring the bird YELLOW.

Woodstock was not named until after the concert. However, he had been around long before that. According to the wiki, Woodstock was introduced on April 4, 1967, so we still have another year (if this follows the same timeline and I read the date right on the comic.) Woodstock will be in the comic for a few years before being named in June 22, 1970, and was, indeed, named after the concert.

A bird in the hand may be worth two in the bush, but a bird on the head? That’s gotta be worth FOUR in the bush!:-)

♥ LOVE Snoopy’s expression in the last panel!

It’s Woodstock. Why does the current color guy—-color not being a part of the original daily strip—-not realize that?
