Lucy, why do you even bother reading over your brother’s shoulder as he writes letters?

“Sort of human”? I’d love to hear the backstory on this one. No doubt some semi-human editor gave Mr. Schultz a bad time about something.

I’ll never forget the lovely newspaper editor who let me publish my own comic panel in the newspaper when I was about 13. I walked to the newspaper office and he treated me as if he took me seriously. When I actually saw my panel in the newspaper it was so thrilling!

I’m sure I thought this cute when I first read it. After having worked in publishing in various capacities I’m no longer sure.

Editors are humans?, are you sure?

I worked for 4 different newspaper editors in my journalism career. Only one of them was human. He got fired for his humanity.

Should be “kind of human” as in..It takes ALL kindsof people to be an editor..

it’s the preefrooders that gotta go. oh yeah…

Probably a dig at the editor who renamed “Li’l Folks” as “Peanuts” before Schulz had the clout or confidence to prevent it.
