Israel is NOT our 51st state. If not for the U.N. and the U.S., it wouldn’t BE a “state”!! When they STOP illegal seizing folks’ lands, maybe we should start talking to them. UNtil they do, we should pull ALL forms of support from Likud and the Netanyahu bunch, them maybe the rest of Israelis who aren’t totally nuts could regain control???
Obama’s visit to Israel was the best thing to happen there in twelve years. Let’s hope the Israelis and Palestinians are big enough to follow up on his leadership.
As for the cartoon, it’s incredibly stupid. Whether it means Obama only sides with the Israelis and not Palestinians (which is incorrect) or gave no clear directions on what he thought should happen (which is also incorrect) it looks like it was drawn by a fact-denying conservative before the visit even happened, based on knee-jerk Obama-hatred rather than anything that happened out in the real world.

Not often I say this, but …I am in complete agreement with you, Sir.When I first heard this being proposed about a decade ago, I thought it was an insane idea.Now I think it is still massively impractical and unlikely, but much less insane than any alternate proposition.
that is there home land you do realize it would be like uprooting the English moving them to America then parsaling off there land to the Irish and Danes and French and Norwegians and then expecting the English and Scots to thank us for it. it wouldn’t work at all. the Arabs or more specifically the Arab leaders don’t want the land so much as they want to remove the Jews from existence as a part of the lesser jihad.
