When I brought up my Hawaiian experience a days ago (flew from Hilo to Honolulu and had some aircraft malfunction), my fellow passengers stayed overnight in a hotel. I flew home to Washington State the next day.

As a native Washitonion…I woulda stayed in Hawaii. :D Hey, isn’t having family great? I’ve made unannounced stops in Utah more times than I can count! :P

Cake? Is it the cousin’s birthday? Where would they buy at this hour?

Rental car, stop at convenience store. Get talking with cousins, miss the flight!

It would be awesome if it was Opal from Pickles, but I’ve never seen two comics crossover like that.

oh yeah, crossovers- haven’t you met the book club ladies?- erk, I mean, women?

We still have corded phones at our house. Our current house, which was built in 1956, has a phone shelf in the kitchen. There is no outlet nearby, to plug in the base for a cordless phone. We also have a corded phone in the bedroom, and in the basement.

Best tractor museum in the world is in Woodland, CA. While there, travel 20 miles to Sacramento’s fabulous railroad museum.

you’re cute…it’s their land line, old school, not a cordless phone (they still have them, more reliable than cordless- and don’t get lost as easily)

I have a hard time remembering the last time we even had a land-line :-)

Let up on Airey.. He’s got a Chell-Spekcer that, like Gooooooogle, tries to outguess what we’re trying to ask it, and he just ‘hit the button’ too soon. I weep for this generation of collage gradiates that have no ideate of where they air writeable above ! (enter)
