Sluggo doesn’t know the expression “Rome wasn’t built in a day” but quotes Shakespeare?

This story line might work out if Phil becomes Sluggo’s guardian. Then, he can still be in the strip and date Fritzi. Phil can be there for Sluggo and be a male role model for Nancy. But as for married, it would mean new children who could never grow up unless the other two grew up. Bad for the strip. Guardian for Sluggo and date Fritzi.

Bart Millard of MercyMe tells how they got their name…he was talking to his Grandmother and she asked him what he was doing with his life and he told her he was forming a a band and she replied “Mercy me boy when you gonna get a real job”

    Fritzi…marry this man!!!….he’s a keeper!!

Try this little test. I’m dead serious. Every strip without Fritzi in it is completely unfunny. I mean, like Bazooka-Joe unfunny. Before you read the next strip, take a moment to note is Fritzi is in it or not and judge for yourselves. Seems to me, with Fritzi, there’s a little eye-candy and a chance of something a little amusing or poignant or self-serving (like political commentary or the obsession with completely obscure musical references that only the author cares about). Just sayin’.
