My daughter once coerced me to buy a $1 dollar scratch ticket when she did. She won $2.00 and I won $400.00 so it paid off well for my first time even after taxes. That is the only ticket I have ever bought and to this day some 10 or more years later she rides me about my luck and how I should be buying lottery tickets.
I played the stock market with all the mutual funds that were my “retirement”. I don’t gamble but have bought a ticket 2 or 3 times when with someone else (boyfriend’s daughter) or a co-worker (as a group).

Lottery is a tax on people, who don´t do the math.
I never said I do the math.
