I wish more did..of he and Iof he? No, of himof I? No, of meTherefore, of him and meor is it therefor?well at least the spelling isn’t spoken.Anyhoo, supposedly educated people on TV use the subjective form of the pronoun rather than the proper objective form. They even “correct” those who do it correctly. This means even the script writers don’t know no gooderer..This is bound to lead to the breakdown of Western sevelezashun starteng wid mi.
Reminds me of when I was in the 4th grade. The teacher never called on you if you raised your hand, only on those who didn’t raise their hands. It was frustrating because I usually knew the answer so I had my hand raised and she’d call on someone (usually a boy) who didn’t have his hand raised and he’d sit there hemming and hawing. I wish teachers would realize this humiliating tactic does not result in the kid studying more. It only causes resentment for both those who do know the answers and those who don’t!
