Never have to worry about the kid falling down that well again.

Kind of an expensive solution. I would have just tossed in a stick of dynamite and BOOM! No more problem.

It’s just Bart Simpson’s radio down there.

Leopold, you messed up. You could have done a Silence of the Lambs kind of gig.

First it was Winnie, now it’s Timmy! Who’s next?

This will not go well, not after a few year when the long haired girl in the well gets pissed.

So Leopold speaks Dog? He really is a Renaissance monster. Beatrice will be so proud!

The Lassie-surrogate looks rather dismayed in panel 3. I guess she didn’t know about Leopold and his ways when she ran to him to announce “BARK! BARK! BARK!” Poor Timmy!

I think Lassie was in on it. I mean , mean for crying out loud, how many times has that kid been stuck in the well. Even for Lassie it must have been getting old. Can’t call Lassie an enabler now.

Trapped kid can float up to the top?

Come on, maybe by the 3rd frame Leopold had already saved the person in the well, and is now capping that old dangerous abandoned well so that no one else will be harmed. And thus doing his civic duty and a good deed.

Nah… he’s totally pouring cement over them.

Now they’re unwell.

Wonder if Leopold has ever watched The Ring. Prepare to be haunted.
