I remember many years ago when “Father Guido Sarducci” (Don Novello) revealed on Saturday Night Live that he might be promoted to Cardinal, and that being Cardinal came with a pair of trousers with a red stripe down each side. According to Father Sarducci, “Nothing brings out the really good veal in an Italian restaurant like that red stripe.”So one can only imagine how good the Pope’s veal is (if one considers veal “good”).
