    I had a dog once that rolled in well aged dead snake. That was about the worst I’ve smelled.

    rpmurray – if you ever had mice in your house, you would not view cats as vermin.

    @Elderflower My dogs take care of the mice, snakes and other critters as well. I don’t need a cat for that. I personally have nothing against cats but my allergies do and you would be surprised how many dogs out there could out mouse a cat.

    snarkm: My dog could. He liked to roll in the dirt over a septic tank (the grass wasn’t greener there because his rolling killed it). After a roll, he came in and went directly to the basement mop sink. He enjoyed the roll enough to pay the price.
