    Oh Deere, John.

    My lawn tractors usually last me about ten years. Change the oil, etc. to make them last.

    Been here on the old Virginia ranch near DC almost forty years now

    I do try to get one with more HP each time.

    Lucky me, I really love it here, an acre and a half in grass and surrounded by acres of forest land. No neighbors and thirty minutes into town, on a good day.

    My Plugger car is a ten year old Lexus ES 300 and still runs quite well. On the other hand, wife had to get a new Chevy due to a lot of travel.

    I know how he feels, I bought a beater 4X4 a few years back for winter driving. Not only did it NOT snow any that year, I think for the first time in 40+ years, it was one of the warmest winters for our area ever!
