I’ve got a little bit of Grateful Dead in me, but I try not to let it show.

If that’s the logic, then I have a little Rob Halford and Scott Ian in me

WytZox1 : I am not! I won’t even be 80 for another five weeks..comicssfan: Probably, but not I. Mozart, Beethoven, Verdi, Rachmaninov, Gershwin, Bernstein (both Lenny and Elmer), and other stuff that lasts without payola support, and the performers who can do them justice.

If he can’t do it to your specifications, Dave; then you won’t have to pay. I once went to a ladies’ hairdresser with really thick hair half way down my back and asked for it to be thinned out. I ended up looking like Rod Stewart (yeuk) with the bottom of my hair just below my chin. I looked in the mirror, then looked at the “stylist” and said, “This isn’t what I asked for”, then boldly walked out..I slagged off the salon to everybody I met.

I glommed onto the Andrew Sisters back in the Sixties thanks to TV Matinee movies starring Abbot and Costello. When I finally upgraded to CDs,I would raid the bargain bins at Circuit City for Big Bands and cheap classical music.

Pluggers ask for the barber/stylist to leave a little more hair around the ears to hide their hearing aids.

route66paul" No, but he is always in the WRR top 50 with more than one piece, as are Mozart, Rachmoninov, Gershwin, and usually Leonard Bernstein – not to mention those pliagerzed by Tin Pan Alley in the 1940-1960 era, like Chopin and Tchaikovsky.
