At eighteen months, my older daughter would melt down when I went into the bathroom without her. She was bright enough to know better, but it didn’t matter when MOM WAS GONE!

It’s how infants work. They can’t conceive the concept of a world that exists outside their vision, even if they visited that world. This strip makes perfect sense.

I’m ready to hear more about Clarence and Charlene. Their story arc has been randomly thrown in since November. We still have heard next to nothing about how her trip went. The strip feels very jumpy right now.

To put matters in perspective, go look at videos on you-tube comparing celestial bodies in size. Our sun is a marble compared to some giant stars, and then they lost in nebulas, etc…
