Alexikakos do you do any grill cooking?But that’s not enough for Australia. Today is also Canberra Day (though I think only for that city). For those who enjoy horse racing, Australia is holding the Adelaide Cup. Sounds a lot like the Kentucky Derby.Closer to home, Canada has Commonwealth Day. Good morning Locos! Yes, according to my Rubes Day to Day calendar, those are today’s holidays. Commonwealth Day also shows up for the UK, assuming my calendar is correct. I think we missed “Mothering Sunday” yesterday, or did we? I don’t know! LOL! I forget from one day to the next sometimes!

Come to think of it, Commonwealth Day would explain why we have shows called the Prom, which features lots of British music and flag waving. I have a Canadian and British flag from one of those things. A friend of mine (elderly) is from England, and she always loved those things.

Dry I am excited, but I am still working out how I am going to be able to see everyone. It was easier when I was the only one away from home, but now two bothers and a sister are spread out too. Take care all! I’ll be posting again next week.
