I can’t believe (well, kinda) that Barry is going to allow millions of Americans to suffer rather than just targeting 2% of government that is waste or non-essential.
I guess his politics, once again, is all that matters.
As opposed to the Occupy Movement hate? Care to compare what happens during each group’s asseemblies and then look at the aftermath of them? I believe there are still areas that have not yet recovered from the Occupy Movement.
But, but, but, the space between @ClarkKent’s ears is so much more tranquil and doesn’t stress him out with the realities of life.It’s empty as well . . . but I digress . . . .
Sorry DrCanuck, but I am not a tea Bagger. Just a logical thinking independent, and I want to see cuts in all the ridiculous spending. How about cutting some politicians’ salaries for a start? I also still live in a country that as long as they don’t take away my right to free speech.-tallows me to “slam” the presidency and others.
Dems want more screaming?Just wait until the end of March when it is time for the Cowardly Congress to pass the CR…-I gleaned these news reports this morning….2 Democratic Representatives on the House Budget Committee screamed about the DEBT CLOCK in the room….Cal.Maxine Waters and Minn.Keith Ellison. Ellison later went on Hannity and had a screaming fit, calling Hannity several bad names.The Editor at the Tribune-Review ended his article about the Sequester:“Deception & Lies” and his final sentence read “Washington debates never have been more intellectually dishonest than this one.”-I guess the Liberal Playbook now make it a sin to speak of Deficits, Debt, and Spending!
I’m confused — conservatives are really mad at Obama because he proposed the sequester (that’s not quite true, but anyway), but then they say there’s nothing wrong with the sequester, it might even be a good thing. If that’s true, then they should be happy with what they say Obama did.
abhinkle said, in part…“the more than $8 trillion growth of U.S. liabilities per year.” (end quote)-I think the total annual growth of UNFUNDED LIABILITIES…is far higher than the reported annual expenditures, right?-It is the FUTURE OBLIGATIONS to pay out promised benefits to retirees, et al.Right? (and total unfunded liabilities are rarely reported to the public) right?

Go Sequester!! Cutting a drop from a bucket won’t make any difference. No one is going to lose their job over this, folks.

You mean Obama (whose own salary is exempted from any cuts) is a Republican?

I think everyone should be taxed 75% regardless of income. That plus reductions in spending is what it’s going to take for our economy to recover.

@ConserveGov
It’s a little late for that; I would have had to contact you 40 years ago.
