I hadn’t gotten the memo that Palin was running for President.

Also, please spare me any “heartbeat” away from the presidency nonsense if you will.

Go on HUMPHRIES, take a guess at whom you are. Bob thinks thoughts and therefor has a license to label people. Whatever you do don’t guess Libertarian or independent or any one of those other make believe political factions. Just sit back and let Bob label you and everything will be alright. Well for Bob at least. ”’ Bob? You have my permission to see things as an individual. You don’t have to take a side. You don’t have to allow a party to tell you what to think. You don’t have to agree with everything that they say. Bob? You have my permission to take your life back. I’m leaving these forums now Bob. I may be back I may not. Either way. Think about what it is that I have said. /// Because I believe our time here is through.

What ARE you blathering on about Tindog? He consistently bashes McCain and Palin while praises Obama. An independent or a libertarian I think not.

‘I hadn’t gotten the memo that Palin was running for President.’ LOL, apparently she did, she made promises in a speech about what would happen under a ‘Palin/McCain presidency’ yesterday. I saw the tape, she didn’t blink. Gotta wonder what the handlers had to say to her after.(grins)

‘Also, please spare me any “heartbeat” away from the presidency nonsense if you will’ What nonsense? The actuarial tables show a 1 in 3 chance that a man McCain’s age will have died in the next 4 years. It’s a very legitimate concern with someone who would be the oldest prez ever elected. Do you really think that it’s not a legitimate question under teh circumstances? Almost 20% of our VP’s have had to step up into the big chair.

CB, I always wondered where I stood. As a young man I was a staunch Republican but Nixon shook me up and Reagan cured me. What bashing, I’m just making observations. If I were a law enforcement officer on the street an on my right I notice an armed robbery and on my left a guy J-walking just where do you think my concern should lie?

Gold/Regan- My mistake. I thought the table I saw factored in the cancer history, but I couldn’t find it. BTW you realize that Goldwater disowned McCain after the S&L scandal when he was one of the Keating Five, right?
