Great drawing. It almost makes me feel sorry for Joey the Rat & Co. Almost…And jack75287, I honestly don’t think it’s bigotry to point out the sad reality that Catholic theology is ludicrous, the institution is morally, if not fiscally, bankrupt, and the church hierarchy is reprobate. In fact, I have a strong suspicion that if the truth was actually known it would be revealed that the College of Cardinals is a nest of sociopathic atheists of the most unpleasant sort who have for centuries been in the business of putting on a good show in order to play the gullible and desperate.

Roman Catholicism is the worst faith – except for most of the others. .The older a religious institution gets, the more it becomes encrusted with archaic liturgical rituals and theological commentaries. . And most old religions tend to accumulate enormous wealth. They also become increasingly politicized. In its nearly 2000 years of existence, the diverse forms of Christianity have seen it all..At least the clerical hierarchy is not hereditary – in most cases. (conf. Cesare Borgia)..Yes, it will probably survive even a man-made Apocalypse. An interesting novel about the Church of the future is A CANTICLE FOR LEIBOWITZ, by Stanley M. Miller.

According to both St. Malachy the Monk & Nostradamus, looks that way. I know that according to the Monk, the next Pope will be the Last one before that institution falls apart. I’d have to get my copy of Nostradamus’ prophesies to see what is said about the last Pope….

We must never forget that the Vatican is first and foremost, a political institution. Thus the collection of power and lucre exacts its historic toll.Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.
