A 5% paycut across the board for EVERYBODY in federal government would more than cover the 80 Bill. But no, Barry will just reject any cuts to keep the DC machine well greased.

I believe the data shows that defense spending has more than doubled since the year 2000. I believe we could get a lot of infrastructure built, scientific research funded etc. with an ’extra 400 BILLION a year!!!! Pardon my “yelling.”
F-35’s grounded again, another major problem. While the “news” announced it as the most expensive weapons program (true) they only said $485 billion, well, so far, and not complete, actually at $1.3 TRILLION now, for a failed, already obsolete piece of junk from Lockheed Martin (Lynne Cheney’s old stomping grounds, just like poor bankrupt Halliburton/KBR for her hubby.)
Yes, there ARE rational places to cut the budget, especially in defense, but “sequester” is just another word for stupid, and it was was Republicans demanding all the credit when it passed, lest we forget. (Oh, right, all the righties have!)
