Looks like he still doesn’t know how to swim. But what do I know? I bet they put up that ‘Please Use the Restroom’ notice just for him, Dale and the missing Jer.

I didn’t think he ever left his FIRST childhood. So, does this mean he needs adult nappies? That ‘Use Restroom’ sign really IS apropos!

I’d believe anything. And yes, that sign means YOU! Purple sky is right, they’ve already had experience with Jerry. First they had to endure seeing him in a thong, then they had to service the filter after it clogged with his hair, and finally it took a week to get the water back into spec.

Well Dale still can’t swim. He just paddles around on his floaters Mom is 90 and never learned to swim But she never went in the water either. Dad always took us to the lake to swim. The pool boy must really like it when the Pennies show up I can see him cringe every time.

After her stroke, the only excersize my mom got was paddling herself around a pool with her one good arm and leg (and the floaty ring, like Burl). When she had to switch to a home, I found her a good one near my house that had a great pool that even had a built in crane to put the older and heavier seniors in and out, and a graduated ramp with railing. My brother had been watching her during the week (as he “worked” from home on his law career) and I cared for her on weekends (because of my full time engineering job), so he dropped her off the one time I had arranged for her to try that place. I’m sure he realized that this would be more $$ than the one he found near him, so when asked, he told them she was incontinent (not true), so she never got to try the best feature. I hope my dad realizes (whereever he is) what a mistake he made by putting my brother in charge (executor and POA). I tried to get mom to change her power-of-attorney to one of my eldest 2 sons (both graduated from college with honors, one in finance). Everyone, including my younger bro’ are now dead and gone.

floaty rings are not intended as flotaton devices as they are (usually) too big and one might slip out. Not our boy Burl, he has to shimmy into his like a girdle.
