I thought you Neoclowns would be glad the Dems are behaving the way you would! But no, you gotta object because they’re Dems!

This administration is just continuing on the principles of the last one. The Govt. is not in our control, and it hasn’t been for a long time. Because just in case you haven’t noticed, only one congressman has come out hard against this and they are portraying him as a nut. Objection to killing americans on american soil should be causing riots in the halls of congress, but instead we are getting silence, from both sides of the aisles, that Is disturbingly deafening.

Using drones to kill enemy combatants in a war zone is one thing, but using drones to kill American citizens in the U.S. is unconstitutional. U.S. citizens have a right to a trial by a jury of their peers. The president can’t be judge, jury, and executioner.

@ IonizerThe constitution states that the president can’t be judge, jury, and executioner. Of course that doesn’t stop some people.

When will everyone learn that there is no liberal or conservative anymore in the two partys? They are both doing the same things with different people. It is all an illusion to make the public think they are different so they can gain complete control over the Country.

The “drone” issue must need real discussion – one assumes the lead time for the comic made it impossible for Scott Stantis to anticipate yesterday’s filibuster. I note that the filibuster was bi-partisan (Oregaon Sen. Wyden also spoke). While the WSJ and SC Sen Graham and the hard leftists are disparaging Sen. Paul’s effort, Charles Krauthammer called it political genius. Why not talk about it?

" Businesses aren’t buying stuff or expanding, because they don’t know what the future holds."-Businesses NEVER know what the future holds. Those that think they do are deluded, people who think businesses know the future are fools.

“As for the Patriot (sic) Act, DHS, TSA, et al., most conservatives I know were and are adamantly opposed to them.”-Perhaps you should get the conservatives you know in touch with the conservatives who created the DHS, and together with the folks at the Heritage Foundation (who support the Patriot Act: http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2011/05/after-bin-laden-support-the-patriot-act ). Maybe they can do a better job with the right-wing of our political spectrum than the Republicans have been doing.

A little “collateral damage” from the drones is going to upset someone.Or a lot of someones. Let’s see how the MSM handles that.

Amazing how much 9-11 changed this country. Things that used to be unimaginable have become almost routine!

So what? Who cares if the opponents are hypocrites? It doesn’t mean they aren’t right. Obama is a Neo Con. He’s more dangerous than Dick Cheney ever was. But he’s the “One” so he’s untouchable.

Osama Bin Laden’s son-in-law has the right to be tried by a jury in New York, but American citizens can be killed by drone attacks without trial. It’s obvious that our constitution permits it, since we have a progressive former Constitutional law professor as our Dear Leader.
