here was some discussion about how the love triangle between Mysta, Junior, & Sparkle was a new idea because of the bringing back of someone presumed dead.Actually I think the idea has been used before. I know of one anime that was filled with the heart wrenching angst such a situation causes. The anime I am thinking of is called Kimi ga Nozomu Eien or Rumbling Hearts for those who prefer English.The general story has two girls Haruka and Mitsuki , and a boy Takayuki. Takayuki and Mitsuki are childhood friends. Mitsuki and Haruka are school friends. Haruka tells Mitsuki that she likes Takayuki and since the two are good friends want’s her to introduce her to him. One thing leads to another and Haruka and Takayuki start going steady.One day Takayuki is on his way to meet Haruka for a date. He is stopped by Mitsuki because it is her birthday and he didn’t buy her anything. She insists that he by her a ring for her birthday, which he does. Because of this he is late meeting with Haruka who is waiting for him on a street corner. This is when tragedy strikes. A car hits Haruka and she is taken to the hospital. Takayuki and Mitsuki arrive just after the accident. There is blood everywhere, and Haruka’s hair ribbons. Takayuki has a breakdown and suffers PSD from the experience. Mitsuki feels responsible, because if she hadn’t stopped him the two of them would have been somewhere else and Haruka would be fine. As it is Haruka is in a coma, one she remains in for three years.In the interim Mitsuki takes it on herself to try and get the devastated Takayuki to begin living again. He has holed himself up in his apartment and is pretty much just staring at the wall all day. Bit by bit she brings him out of it and as she does so begins having feelings for him herself. Over time the two of them become lovers. Then Haruka wakes up from her coma, but has anterograde amnesia. The doctors are worried that the realization that three years has passed might be to much of a shock for her delicate psyche, and that she might have a relapse, so they ask Takayuki and Mitsuki to act like no time has passed and that they are still in High School. Now Takayuki has to act like he is in love with his old girlfriend in front of his lover, and that he and Mitsuki are just friends.It is a great emotional roller-coaster ride of an anime.

THANK YOU TEAM TRACY for today’s strip. I only come to this message board on the days that MOON MAID makes an appearance because I hate all the bickering and fighting that goes on here. It’s the main reason I stay off of message boards in general. People seem to feel mighty powerful hiding behind their keyboards, and never seem to care about the hurtful things they post.
