Forget politics for a moment. She looks like she’s dressed for a dinner at a semi-respectable restaurant, at the very least. He looks like he’s ready to go see the local band playing at a coffeehouse.
I have a good friend who’s boyfriend showed up in a Soviet Union t-shirt on one of their first dates. And she was a conservative. Didn’t deter her though. They’re married now with kids.
