I think what’s entertaining about this discussion of “we don’t have a spending problem,” and we have already cut the deficit by trillions of dollars" is the way it is calculated. Forgive me for being analytical, I’m an accountant and can’t help myself.

The democrats math is fascinating and extremely creative, if you can apply that expression to math. A great percentage of their “deficit reduction” is based on a projection of less of an increase in government spending, As I have always understood it, spending cuts are when you eliminate an expense, reduce people and infrastructure accordingly and “X” out any reference to it in future spending plans. It is also entertaining to try to figure how they talk about spending cuts and reducing the deficit when they don’t have a budget passed in four years to base this on.

Now before anyone (liberals) get too spun up about this, let me be the first to drop the same rock on the republicans that scream about spending (cutting spending) and have absolutely no comprehensive plan to accomplish this.

So now us common citizens daily hurl insults at each other and make little to no effort to come up with practical solutions, it’s much easier and more fun just to call each other names. So I guess we continue to watch our country stalemated in political gridlock until the deterioration follows the path of other great countries in history that got complacent and threw away their greatness…

Keep supporting those radical wealthy Henry! Maybe you will convince the middle class they don’t deserve an education and health care.
