The weird thing is that onguard probably actually believes that Obama has violated the first and second amendment (he hasn’t) and hasn’t delivered a budget (he has, every year). The quality of the news you get really can make you stupid.
Here’s a tune someone told me was written for, ‘The Nuge’…by a guy who’s a hundred times better a guitar player ( and songwriter ) than that loudmouthed jackass could ever HOPE to be.
You know a party is on its way out when it’s members think that inviting a no talent pedophile “rocker” who likes to play with guns to a SOTU address is going to change people’s minds. That’ll really convince Americans that the gun worshippers have something about which to be righteously indignant! Wasn’t Teddy supposed to be dead or in jail right now, according to his own words?
Someone explain this one to me, because I really would like to understand:
One of the Dixie Chicks stated in a concert that she was embarrassed that Dubya was from her home state of Texas, and there was a firestorm. Record sales went down, people destroyed their copies of their music, and many country radio stations refused to play their music.
Ted Nugent launches diatribes during his concerts where he threatens the POTUS, gives the double one-finger salute, states that if Obama is re-elected, he’ll either be dead or in jail (we’re still waiting, Mr. Nugent), and conservatives just love him. Mike Huckabee (the minister) played bass with him on TV while Nugent sang about making your pussy purr (“Cat Scratch Fever”).
And while we’re on the subject: remember that when people showed up to Dubya’s town hall meetings with signs or differing viewpoints, they were either quickly removed or arrested. And the talking heads at Fox went “tsk, tsk”, while the message was “you’re either with him, or you’re a terrorist”.
Before Mr. Obama was sworn in the first time, there were protesters in Washington carrying signs with photos of piles of bodies from the Nazi death camps, all kinds of weapons, and absurd comparisons of Obama to Hitler and to Batman villains, and all the Fox news commentator on the scene could say was “God BLESS these people.”
Again, how does a conservative reconcile this?
Before you answer, remember that calling me names does not address the question. Thank you.
“Free speech areas”, miles from where the POTUS was speaking, were the creation of those nice “conservatives” who don’t really care for “free speech”, like Citizens United, it’s how much you can pay that determines your right to speak".
Not a fan of “country music”, but bought my first “country” CD, Dixie Chicks, after Natalie and the crew were banned from all those nice right-wing conservative outlets, and boycotted by the weak-kneed chickenhawk brigade.

That’s exactly how Teddy Bear Nouget should have been allowed to attend the SOTU.

He may not have violated them yet, but give him time. Your right, the quality of main stream media can make you stupid.

I don’t care for Ted’s politics at all, but "Stranglehold’ is an awesome tune.

How is this not hypocrisy? Please do tell.

But HE’s not a pro-war gun-freak now.

Nugent is a buffoon and only other buffoons believe what he says is anything other than buffoonery.
