I read a blog that blamed Nixon for the Post Office woes.I don’t think it was THE major problem (the lame duck Congress in 2006 making them save 75 years of pensions in 10 years was the main problem)Anyhow, Nixon signed the Postal Reorganization Act in 1971, and that is where this blogger, Tom Purcell places blame.http://www.cagle.com/2013/02/the-cut-is-in-the-mail/

It listens to what? Some kind of party propoganda? I’m curious because frankly it smacks of something that’s just designed by one political party to blame a current woe on another political party. There’s way too much of that as it is. The PO is folding because their function is now obselete. What can’t be sent by e-mail or text can be more efficiently sent by private carriers like Fed Ex or UPS. Was the PO mismanaged? Oh yes. It’s been mismanaged by administrations of both sides. Which makes me wonder if both the Republican and Democratic parties are also obselete and mismanaged.
