the ‘fast and furious’ gun scandal was shameless and careless. but my questions; does Mexico inspect less than 10% of cargo carriers entering their country like the US? and don’t they really know who’s calling the shots? just like the justice dept. knew who the mob boses were here in the US in the 20’s during prohibition?
I may be wrong, but I don’t think any of the recent shootings have been done by an NRA member. It’s a matter of WHO is allowed to have a weapon. Lots of luck on disarming criminals.Also, aren’t there a number of countries with higher murder rates than the US – but also have gun controls?Fortunately, I live in an area where if one owns a gun, it is more likely to be involved in a “friendly fire” incident than be needed for defence. Not everyone is that lucky.
