Well, it won’t be easy to find a suspect of a crime if a Vadoma tribesman commits a crime when checking for footprints. So during the two-year ban, what do those German students and teachers do in their free time? Finally, you’d need a really big mailbox and bank account for an envelope that huge.

Back in high school I would have enveloped and mailed two of my toes to the school board just to have had two years without homework.

Garima obviously has too much time on her hands and probably has normal toes.I don’t think she has really thought this one through. Besides, what the hell is going in that envelope and is she prepared to foot the postage?

I remember hearing about a certain people group (asian I believe) that are frequently born with multiple thumbs and or fingers, but normally have them cut off not too long after birth (by cutting off all circulation until it loses feeling).

Medically the mutation has several different names: ‘ectrodactyly’, ‘ectodermal dysplasia’, and (for those who didn’t go to med school) ‘cleft syndrome’. It is genetic. Wiki lists a lot of other problems that go with it, including urinary tract infections, kidney disease, and hearing loss.

Maybe Garima has mailed several letters to the Prime Minister only to be ignored (whether on purpose or on accident). This time, perhaps she is refusing to be ignored. The Prime Minister can’t miss THAT envelope.

The Ninja Turtles should move to Zimbabwe.

I doubt if there is any disease resistance benefits from having only 2 toes, however, there could be an evolutionary advantage in balance or running or turning that remains to be tested.
