Years ago we took our trailer and did some camping in Mexico. When we left and got to the border, they pulled us over to look through our trailer. We had bought a bottle of tequila and had it packed in the bath tub. The bottle broke and from the smell, they thought we were smuggling drunken Mexicans across the border.
This will be me, as I come through customs this week. I usually, don’t bring a lot of “duty-free” liquor home but was unable to resist some incredible wines and a killer deal ( free from a friend ) on an extremely rare scotch. I do have my ways, learned from years and years of travel, and not disclosed on these pages – ever – of bringing things in, through customs, hassle-free !Hint: Cruise Ship debarkation is a lot easier than off an Airline.
